Condition: GOOD

C.D. Schubarth, Providence, RI, 58 caliber contract musket, 1861 pattern.  Cartouche is present.  "VP" and eagle are very light at the breach of barrel, no date is visible.  The breach of barrel lightly pitted, remainder brown & smooth, good bore, mechanically in good shape, stock in very good condition, chip of wood missing behind center barrel band.  A hard gun to find.
